Safe and Sound Animal Shelter Society
The Safe and Sound Animal Shelter Society is a non-profit organization adoption programme and spay/release program.
We are run out of Cobequid Animal Hospital, that adopts animals in need to wonderful new homes.
Each potential applicant is screened to ensure that all animals are going to a home that is a perfect fit for both people and animals alike. All animals are given all the medical attention they require during their stay at the hospital. Adult animals that come through the hospital are spayed/neutered and are brought up to date on all their vaccinations. All cats are tested for both FeLV and FIV both of which are very dangerous viruses. Both cats and dogs are also tested for heartworm disease.
